The Fox and the Swan
A. Dee Carey has spun a magical web that makes one suspend reality and cheer her morphed characters on. Although this is not the type of genre I personally read, I found myself swept up in the storyline that was peopled with strong characters that formed a complete population of essential beings—not one too many and not one too few.
The Fox and the Swan is a story where the step-mother truly is a witch. The plot, the arranged marriage of a young girl to a curmudgeon to save her family, is one that is tried and true but definitely has a different twist with sorcery and religion becoming compatible.
The transition of humans to animals was so believable one never lost faith in the story and I had to read it to its conclusion in a short time. A. Dee Carey keeps you wondering about the outcome all the way through. The setting in
Whether you read fantasy or not, I recommend The Fox and the Swan as a good love story that plays out blending fantasy and reality that makes you believe in it and its characters.

Joyfully Reviewed calls it “by turns heartbreaking, funny, emotional, and romantic. Ms. Carrington superbly handles the emotional intensity such a loss brings. She crafts a wonderful love story of two people finding their way out of loss to find their way back to each other. With the addition of the paranormal ghost twist, With Love From Sam is most definitely a story which should not be missed.”
“If only mere words could express the emotional magnitude of this book. From the first pages this reader was overwhelmed and ingratiated at the same time. The feelings this book evokes are raw and powerful, yet divinely beautiful. The characters are crisp and alive – fleshed-out and real. The readers will become the story, needing to stay within its commanding flow,” says Love Romances’ reviewer, Janalee Ruschhaupt.
Winning Love Romances’ Golden Rose Award for Reviewer’s Choice, With Love from Sam has been called “a story of healing and learning how to deal with grief and move on. There are sad moments that may bring a tear to your eye, but the story focuses on Karyn and Jace's love for one another, which is tested to the limits. With well-developed characters dealing with emotional ups and downs, readers will find it hard to put down. The secondary characters, including the town gossip and one particular feisty unearthly being, who add humor, help move the story along. It's a wonderful story of how true love can survive the worst of times,” by Romance Reviews Today.

Hold on to your hats because it's gonna be a rough but satisfying ride when you open HERRARA'S TEMPTATION. Larisa is independent and beautiful with a hard outer shell that hides a softer side. All Larisa ever wanted was her father's approval, something she wasn't sure she had. When he died it was easy for her to blame Nicolas. If he had been there maybe things would have turned out differently. Nicolas is sex on two legs. He's got a body to die for and a mouth that....mmm... but I digress.
If you're looking for something that will heat up those cold winter nights, then curl up with Anisa Damien's HERRARA'S TEMPTATION.
