Everything about Nicolas James draws Stephanie Martin to him, like a moth to a flame. He’s intelligent, extremely good-looking, and much too sexy for his own good. Ms. Day has written a wickedly arousing tale with Wish List, which is a part of the While Hot Holiday collection from Ellora’s Cave. I found myself completely captivated by the intensely impassioned scenes between Nick and Steph. Steph can’t help but become hopelessly drawn into the sexual desire Nick weaves around her. She fights the craving, but like all hot love stories, finds that some battles are worth losing. When Steph finally makes her choices, she goes in full force and treats the reader to sensual capitulation.
I really loved Nick. He pushes for what he wants and isn’t willing to allow a simple surrender to occur. Sexually, I found myself getting wrapped up in their chemistry. Due to their history of working together, I could sense more than the sexual relationship between Steph and Nick, which made their growing love story both a believable as well as a pleasurable read.
